What is Ducpor?

Ducpor Limited is a new start-up company to Northern Ireland. It’s director Gerry Drake BSc (Hons); MBA, has a business background in sales, marketing and business development and has worked in the Private; Public and Not-for-Profit sectors throughout the United Kingdom and Internationally over the last 15 years. Ducpor Limited has designed and developed a new innovative product called “ducpor” that could be attached (screwed onto) the top of fluid containers (both 1 litre & 4/5 litre sizes and larger containers) and which would ensure the safe pouring of that fluid removing the risk of any unnecessary spills. The original concept was devised when Gerry through his hobby of restoring and servicing classic sports cars found it difficult to transfer fluids without spillages.

The idea for the “ducpor” product was developed from research which identified a customer need for such an innovative product and an opening in the market for such a consumable product which would fit 85-90%* of industry containers in the UK; European; North American; Far East & Middle Eastern marketplaces.

Originally designed to solve the problem of spillage of different liquids in an auto motive environment (engine oil; coolant; brake & clutch fluid) the ducpor allows the safe pouring of fluids and liquids (chemical / toxic) thus reducing or alleviating unnecessary spills which can be damaging to the environment and user.
Ducpor is not just limited to an automotive environment or marketplace as the containers used are also commonly used in other market sectors such as (DIY; gardening; household; military).

Who Do We Achieve This ?

The technology and the material used along with the accuracy that the product provides to the user will allow us to satisfy not just the avid DIY enthusiast but also the industry professional.

The idea behind the “ducpor” product (ducpor trademark registered) was to design and manufacture a product that could be attached (screw onto) the top of various fluid containers (1 litre & 4/5 litre sizes and larger containers) and which would ensure the safe pouring of that fluid thus reducing or removing the risk of any unnecessary spills.  The product would have an innovative spring loaded open and shut valve (Patent Pending) which would control the pouring of fluids. The product is designed so that it could be left on the fluid container even when it is not in use as when the spring valve is closed no fluids or liquids can escape (even when the container is knocked over) and no dirt can get in.

 With the innovative  duck bill shaped spring loaded spout you simply direct the duck bill into the oil or fluid receiving hole, press down and squeeze the container a couple of times. When you release the duck bill spout, the spring-loaded valve closes, eliminating oil or fluid from dripping onto the hot engine manifolds or other surfaces. This also eliminates getting your clothing or hands dirty from spilled fluids.
